About the tour...
The Southwestern Schools Education Foundation will present our 4th annual Cycle Chautauqua Bike Tour on Saturday July 18, 2015 @ 9 AM. We are offering two scenic tours consisting of a 23 mile half lake tour crossing at the historic Bemus Point-Stowe Ferry and a 43 mile full lake tour to Mayville and back. All tours begin and end at the Lucille Ball Memorial Park, Celoron, NY, and offer several rest stops along the way. Once you have completed your tour, please join us for a free lunch at the park and take a chance on the Chinese auction items. Come and enjoy the scenic beauty of Chautauqua Lake and surrounding areas while supporting the educational initiatives of the students and teachers of all three campuses of the Southwestern Central School District.
Funds raised from the tour will be used to award 2 Southwestern graduating seniors each with a $250 Spirit Scholarships who exemplify the vision of the foundation by giving back to the school.
All tour lengths are $25.00 per rider.
Same day registration is also available for cash, check or credit card. Please call Lori Radack at 640-8340 for more information. All riders registered by July 4th will receive a Cycle Chautauqua T-shirt. Shirts will also be available on the day of the tour as supplies allow.
All proceeds from our fundraising events will benefit the Southwestern Schools Education Foundation's initiatives for scholarships, grants, athletic equipment, music needs, science equipment, etc. as well as providing funds for the growth of our long term endowment at the Chautauqua Region Community Foundation.
